The Hille Foundation welcomes applications from charitable organizations that are tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. New projects and organizations with their 501(c)(3) status pending may submit an application with the assistance of a charitable organization that has agreed to serve as their fiscal sponsor.
Once organizations have been invited to apply, the Hille Foundation requires all applicants to use our online Grants Application Portal. The Application Portal allows organizations to complete grant requests, view the status of current requests, view submitted grant agreements and submit reports. All submissions of applications and reports will only be processed via this Portal. This excludes discretionary grants, memberships, conferences, and events, which will be managed internally via our grants management system.
The grant application is a multi-phase process that includes an eligibility quiz, letter of inquiry and a full application. Upon submission of each step, a communication will be sent via email and the Application Portal informing the organization of the Hille Foundation’s decision, any additional information or supporting documents needed and instructions for next steps in the application process.
It is the SOLE responsibility of the applicant to submit accurate contact information for their organization and to keep it current.
